About The Camellia Cafe and Chef Ryan Glass
The Camellia Cafe is nestled in a quiet nook in historic Downtown Daphne, Alabama. In 2006, The Camellia Cafe was re-established under Chef Ryan Glass, a top-class chef and graduate from the world-renowned New England Culinary Institute in Montpelier, Vermont. Ryan matured his natural talent while in Birmingham, Alabama at the Hot Fish Club as well as in Napa Valley, California at the Martini House, creating unparalleled, delectable dishes and pairing them up with mouth-watering wines that completely enriched his patrons dining experience.

Ryan has transformed The Camellia Cafe into a household name and the center of new tradition; and he's only just begun. With plans to expand in the very near future, The Camellia Cafe will take on an entirely new level of southern hospitality.

Ryan has also been commended for his culinary delights as he's been featured in Mobile Monthly magazine, This That and The Other Magazine and various others. He's also won numerous awards for his impeccable dinner masterpieces and freshly prepared desserts.
